Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many images can we expect?

For wedding days, I typically deliver 50 images per hour of photography coverage. I am a strong believer in a natural style of photography, and each image is edited and colour-corrected without intrusive photo-shopping.

Q: How will we receive our images?

All images are delivered as high resolution (300 DPI) JPEG files through an online gallery where you can easily create favourite lists, share with friends and family, or download them for printing and long-term storage.

Q: When will we receive our images?

Your gallery will be all ready within four to six weeks of your wedding day. You can also expect some sneak peeks before then :)

Q: What is a second photographer and what do they do during the wedding day?

All of the second photographers that I work with are industry professionals who also run their own businesses (one of the many wonderful things about the close and supportive photography community in Vancouver!) For the simple reason that I can't be in two places at once, second photographers are really wonderful because they give you another perspective of your wedding day. They are also a fantastic option for when you have two things happening concurrently, such as when both partners are getting ready at different locations, or while we are busy with portraits and your guests are mingling during cocktail hour.

Q: Can we add additional hours to a package?

Absolutely! You can add more coverage before-hand or as needed on your wedding day. My hourly rate is 225 CAD.

Q: We are unsure how many hours of coverage we need, what would you suggest?

I'm happy to meet for coffee (or a craft beer!) to discuss your plan for your day. Wedding timelines can be tricky to coordinate, and I am more than happy to help during an initial no pressure consultation and also provide any help necessary during the months and weeks leading up to your wedding day. Typically, eight hours of photography covers everything from getting ready to the start of the dancing.

Q: What's next?

How exciting! If you would like to meet in person to talk further details feel free to get in touch! To confirm your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of 30% the total package cost.
